A gentle spell used to communicate with the wind, to ask for guidance or to carry a message to a faraway place.
Intent
To commune with wind spirits or to send messages across great distances.
What you need
- Feather
- Incense (Lavender)
- Paper
- Quill Pen
- Wind Chime
Steps
- Find a quiet, outdoor space where the wind is blowing gently.
- Set up your wind chime in a place where it will freely move in the wind.
- Light your lavender incense and allow the smoke to rise and mingle with the air.
- Take your paper and quill pen. Write your message or question on the paper.
- Hold the feather and paper in your hands. Close your eyes and focus your intent on the wind spirits or on the message you want to send.
- When you feel ready, open your eyes and say your message aloud to the wind.
- Offer your message to the wind by releasing the paper and letting it be carried away.
- Listen to the wind chime. If it sounds, it means the wind spirits have acknowledged your message.
Notes
This spell is best performed when the wind is moderate. A still day or a storm may not yield the best results.
Burn candles in a stable holder and never leave a flame unattended.
