Spell to Slow Down Time

Create a brief pocket of time where the world seems to slow down, giving you a moment of respite.

Intent

To slow down perceived time.

Find a quiet and comfortable space where you won't be disturbed.
Light the white candle and the lavender incense. The lavender will help create a relaxing environment.
Place the clear quartz next to the candle. The quartz will help you channel your energy into the spell.
Hold the hourglass in your hand and visualize your desired effect, a moment where time seems to pause.
With the image in your mind, turn the hourglass over and start the incantation: 'Tick tock, by the clock, borrow time, let it stop.'
Repeat the incantation thrice. With each repetition, visualize the sands in the hourglass slowing down.
After the third repetition, put the hourglass down but keep the visualization going.
Finally, trace the Rune of Ansuz in the air over the hourglass with your index finger. This rune represents communication and transformation, further reinforcing your will.

Best performed during a new moon. Remember to extinguish the candle and incense after the spell.

Burn candles in a stable holder and never leave a flame unattended.
