The plant produces tiny, pale purple or lilac flowers that bloom in clusters at the ends of long, thin spikes. Its overall appearance is understated yet elegant.
Vervain is native to Europe, North Africa, and parts of Asia but has since been naturalized in the Americas. It thrives in temperate climates and is commonly found in meadows, grasslands, and along roadsides.
