- Bird seed
- Parchment
- Quill pen
- Ink
- Sparrow feather
- Yellow candle
Steps
- Light the yellow candle and place it on a flat surface
- Write your message on the parchment with the quill pen and ink
- Place the parchment and the sparrow feather together
- Recite the incantation 'Sparrow swift, sparrow light, deliver my message this night'
- Leave the parchment, feather and some bird seed on your window ledge
- Wait for the sparrow to take your message and deliver it
