Steps
- Begin this spell at sunset on the autumn equinox
- Light the brown candle as a symbol of the earth
- Fill the basket with the harvested fruits or vegetables, placing the amber amongst them
- Hold a bay leaf in your hand and whisper a message of thanks to the earth
- Burn the bay leaf carefully in the candle's flame over a fire-safe dish
- Repeat with as many bay leaves as you feel necessary, each time expressing gratitude
- Leave the filled basket outside overnight as a gift to nature
